ELECTION 2020: Information minister retains parliamentary seat in Ofoase/Ayirebi Constituency

Minister of Information cum incumbent MP for the Ofoase Ayirebi Constituency, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has declared victory over retaining seat in the Akuapem-North District.


Taking to social media, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah expressed his most profound gratitude to electorates in the constituency for casting huge votes for him.
On June, 20, 2020 earlier this year, all 450 delegates from various 25 electoral areas in Ofoase endorsed the former journo after nomination filiing were closed.


As the only parliamentary aspirant,the Information Minister gained over 6000 votes from electorates depicting their nod to him for continuous service.


He wrote ‘Thank God, thank you Ofoase/Ayirebi for growing our margins by 6k extra votes…’
In addition to his statement, he also rendered a ‘thank you’ to Ghanaians for voting for President Akuffo-Addo massively.


It is evident that constituents in the Ofoase Constituency are pleased with the work of Kojo Oppong Nkrumah as a sitting MP.


Collation of both presidential and parliamentary results are underway and the Electoral Commission are yet to communicate the victors of the 2020 presidential polls to the people of Ghana.
